This is an image which I wanted to make for some time already. I scouted a location with a large enough field with the right orientation and accessibility. Unfortunately when I went out to shoot it, it was already harvested. Which meant I had to scout a new field.
After I found it, it was waiting on the right conditions. With all the rain of the past days it was often too cloudy. When I went out again to photograph this field when the conditions where looking promising, fortunately it was still there.
Since this photo was shot with a wide angle lens, I had to focus stack it. In total this photo consists out of 15 different frames, to get it in focus from front to back.
Note: I was not in the field. This photograph is taken from the edge of the field. I don't go into fields without permission.
